Streusel or Crumb Topping

U.S. Metric Ingredients B Procedure_

8 oz 250 g Butter and/or shortening Rub all ingredients together until crumbly.

5 oz 150 g Granulated sugar

4 oz 120 g Brown sugar V A R I A T I O N_

V2—1 tsp 2-5 mL Cinnamon or mace Nut Streusel

12 tsP 2 mL Salt Add 4 oz (125 g) finely chopped nuts to basic mixture.

1 lb 500 g Pastry flour

Per 1 ounce:

Calories, 130; Protein, 1 g; Fat, 6 g (40% cal.); Cholesterol, 15 mg; Carbohydrates, 19 g; Fiber, 2 g; Sodium, 85 mg.
