Angelica polymorpha vbi. sinensis Chinese tonic for female problems
Dong quai is another herb prescribed in traditional Chinese medicine for female reproductive disorders. Among other indications, and generally in combination with other herbs, it is prescribed for a range of gynaecological conditions, including painful, irregular, scanty or absent periods. To date there has been little clinical research to confirm whether the high regard in which it is held in China is justified.
0 DOSAGE Boil 1 to 3 g dried dong quai root in a cup of water for 10 minutes; drink the decoction 3 times daily. Alternatively, take commercial tablets or capsules, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
